Family owned and operated, South Branch is a place for those who
prefer a more peace and quiet approach to hunting. Our remote location and attention to
detail, combined with some of the largest whitetail deer you will ever see, is what keeps
our clients coming back year after year. We still believe that the very best way to
serve our guests is by booking only one hunting group at a time. Our hunting
preserve is entirely yours during your stay. Only in this way, will you receive the care
you deserve and always occupy the very best hunting areas available.
The property, which has been in our family for over 100 years, consists of mature
timber ridges, hardwood cutovers, thick swamps, pine plantations and has numerous food
plots scattered throughout. Dozens of stands are positioned throughout this diverse
terrain along bottlenecks, funnels and fields. Deer have plenty of thick cover in which to
hide and hunting pressure is kept to a minimum. Hunters are welcome to bring rifle,
shotgun, muzzleloader or pistol. All hunting is done from elevated box blinds or
ground blinds, ladder stands and tree stands. |
